Formación en la fe 2020-2021

Queridos padres,

Registro:

Domingo de 9:45 a 10:45 am, 12:00 a 1:30 pm y 4:00 a 5:00 pm.

Miércoles de 6:30 a 8:00 pm.

Más fechas se anunciarán más adelante.

Gracias,

Miss Louise

Faith Formation 2020-2021

Dear parents,

Due to pandemic restrictions we are only offering classes for First Communion 1 and 2 and Confirmation 1 and 2.

First Communion 1 and 2 will be online with teacher’s assistance.

Confirmation 1 and 2 will be in classes. Classes will be offered on Sunday from 9:45 to 10:45 am and 12:30 to 1:30 pm. Since we do not know how many children will sign-up, we cannot guaranty that you will be able to have your first choice of time period. We will only open Wednesday class time (7:00 to 8:00 pm) if we have too many students for the Sunday classes.

Please expect to pay an additional fee if we return to a full in person program, to cover additional cost (food for retreats, classroom supplies etc.).

Classes will start on October 25th.

All parents will have to come to a meeting before we start to receive detailed instructions about their children’s classes. Dates will be announced later through Remind.

Registration:

Sunday form 9:45 to 10:45 am, 12:00 to 1:30 pm and 4:00 to 5:00 pm.

Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

Thank you,

Miss Louise

Our regular weekend schedule, 5pm, 8:30am & 11am Masses in English and 1:30pm & 5pm in Spanish will start this weekend with limited capacity.

The church has been marked for 6-foot social distancing. Please sit on the yellow Xs. Those in the same family may sit closer together.

Ushers will be counting the number of people until we hit capacity, then there will be overflow into the gym, until the gym is at max.

Between the 2 areas, we will be able to accommodate a minimum of 120 people.

Those that are sent to the gym, will view the Mass on a projection screen and Communion will be brought to them by Extraordinary ministers.

We will continue to livestream Mass for those at home. The times have changed to: 8:30am English & 1:30pm Spanish.

It is very important that you listen to the announcements at the beginning of Mass for other changes that will take place during Mass.

Please note: Per Bishop Zarama, the faithful continue to be dispensed from their Sunday obligation. While this dispensation is applicable to all, the elderly, the sick & other vulnerable people should especially continue to stay at home.

FORMED

Faith at Home

These are challenging and difficult time. Sadly all Masses and activities have been suspended throughout the diocese.  It has been so strange to not be able to come and worship in our beautiful church, but we can still have a Domestic Church in our home.

What is the Domestic Church?

According to the Second Vatican Council’s Dogmatic Constitution on the Church: “The family, is so to speak, the domestic church.” (Lumen Gentium #11) This means that it is in the context of the family that we first learn who God is and to prayerfully seek His will for us.

In the next week, I will be using this place to give you tools to build your Domestic Church.

I am very excited to share this fabulous opportunity to learn and be inspired.

Our parish has a received a complimentary access to FORMED for 40 days! That's right it's FREE!
